World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.

World Vision Jerusalem West Bank Gaza is in the process of implementing the “Child participation project”. The project aims to empower children to become agents of change in their families and societies. This is through building their life skills and institutionalizing their participation and involvement in the community life.
Project Coordinator – Gaza

The successful candidate will:
  • Coordinate with partners and communities to develop plans and budget
  • Supervise and provide support to activities implemented by partners
  • Edit and review financial and progress reports and assure timely submission
  • Develop and Monitor capacity building interventions
  • Ensure gender and DME compliance
  • Develop and deliver progress for semi and annual reports

Qualifications/Requirements
  • -Bachelor degree in social science or a relevant field.
  • -Minimum 3 years’ experience in child protection or child rights
  • -Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
  • -Formal qualifications in agronomy or equivilant experience
  • -Proficiency in computer applications and ability to learn new programs
  • -Ability to work flexible and extra hours
  • -Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • -Very good oral and written skills (English & Arabic)
  • -Strong knowledge of environment friendly projects
  • -Commitment to achieving quality results and service
  • -Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
  • -Valid driving license
  • -Ability to think clearly, deeply and broadly
  • -Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • -Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values
