Data Entry Operator

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization ،whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war
and internal violence and to provide them with assistance.The ICRC in
Jerusalem is looking for a candidate to fill in the following post:

Function : Data Entry Operator

Type of Contract : One year with possibility of extension

Starting date : January 2012

Minimum required knowledge & experience

• High school level

• Two years work experience in a similar field

• Very good command of written as well as spoken English & Arabic

• Good computer skills, databases knowledge is an asset

• Very Good input speed with attention to accuracy

• Respect of confidentiality of data collected

• Ability to work with a team

• Translation Skills (ability to translate from Arabic to English & vice versa)

Job description

• Verifies and inputs data related to Detention/Protection in a timely and accurate manner.

• Exchanges information with Sub delegations and offices

• Ensures the proper filing related to Protection files.

• Photocopies, prepares memos, mail labels, & carries out other secretarial jobs, etc.

• Participates in internal Protection meetings.

• Works on the weekly security backup during the absence of the Database Administrator

• Performs duties and tasks not covered in job description and assigned by the supervisor
