Position: Community Mobilisation Officer
Location: Hebron City
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To supervise the implementation of the community activities, and the mapping of key stakeholders in the communities where the project is implemented.
• To organize community events and coordinate prevention activities against drop out of children from schools, with special focus on girls and children with special needs.
• To make social assessment of the families of children at risk or drop out from schools.
• To strengthen the relations between the community and the schools in with Tdh and school staff. To support, organize and supervise parents’ leader activities in the community as per Tdh strategy.
• To organize training sessions for Tdh Social Workers and Parents leaders on community mobilization techniques.
• To design and spread communities questionnaires concerning children at risk.
• To contribute to identify new projects in cooperation with the Tdh staff.
• To maintain a networking with relevant local and international protection and psychosocial stakeholders in collaboration with Tdh staff.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES
• MA in education or any related field
• 3 to 5 years working experience in community mobilization and child protection projects. Previous experience in micro-projects
• Strong background as manager and team leader
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet).
• Good writing and reporting skills.
• Fluency in English oral and written mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal skills and good coordinator, is used to work in difficult and
demanding circumstances.
• Willing to build capacities of local stakeholders
• Group facilitation skills
• Open, flexible, creative and autonomous
• Committed to provide qualitative services
