MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures, the ideal candidate:
- · Prepares work plans of the training session for overage vocational training course trainees.
- · Implementation of the subject syllabus.
- · Follow up and evaluates the trainees progress.
- · Maintains records of the marks, attendance, equipment and materials.
- · Ensures proper utilization of the facilities and equipment in the workshop.
- · Prepare periodic reports for the progress of the trainees.
- · Participates with other staff in maintaining order and discipline in the center.
- · Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
- · Two years course in Construction Works from an institute recognized by UNRWA.
- · Five years relevant experience in work field
- · Ability to work under pressure.
- · Good knowledge in spoken and written Arabic.
- · Excellent communication skills.
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
- · Basic Salary: Monthly basic salary $839.20; plus a currency adjustment factor (present rate 25%).
- · Contract Duration: One year.
- · Other conditions of service and benefits may apply.
- · A regular staff member can apply to this LDC post but will not be allowed to assume such post through secondment as he/she needs to leave his/her current post to accept LDC appointment.
EQUIVALENCY Candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualifications, professional training and progressive work experience may also be considered ASSESSMENT METHOD
