Islamic Relief (IR) is a humanitarian NGO working in Palestine since 1998. Islamic

Relief helps the needy people without regard to creed, race, gender, or ethnicity. It works

on achieving economic and social welfare through its joint development and emergency

programmes with the local community. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancy for

its office in Hebron.

Title: Site Engineer.

Ref: SE-WB-24-2011

Location: Hebron Office

Duration: six months (full time)

Overall Responsibilities: Site Engineer will be responsible for conducting needs assessment,

preparing bills of quantities for school, preparing tender documents, participating in selection

of contractor, preparing contracts, and supervising the implementation of the works by the

contractors on the project sites, keeping records of all project documents and preparing

periodic reports on the project.

Candidates must possess the following competencies:

• B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Related experience of three years, preferably in supervising schools rehabilitation

and / or construction projects.

• Project management skills.

• Technical reports writing skills.

• Working knowledge of engineering software and MS office applications.

• Interpersonal and communication skills.

• English skills (written and spoken).
